The Design of the Dream House

竹是中国传统的“四君子”之一，一直深受文人墨客所喜爱。竹林是一个充满无限遐想的地方，它一直承载着很多人的“梦”。本设计从竹子所蕴含的气质—“轻盈”，“梦幻”，“写意”为设计的出发点，同时结合中国传统的竹编艺术，设计出一个“梦幻”，“轻盈”，“写意”的竹林别墅，使竹林散发出无限的活力！

Bamboo is referred to as one of Chinese traditional ‘four gentlemen’and has been appreciated by the man of letters.Bamboo forest is a place which is full of the infinite daydream, it carries so many dreams of us. This design is based on the temperament of bamboo—‘light’,‘dreamlike’,‘implicit’as its start point, at the same time, it combine the Chinese traditional Bamboo weaving art. With these, we made a light, dreamlike, implicit bamboo villa. The building we designed makes the bamboo full of vitality.

梦幻、轻盈、写意的中国意境
   
别墅的主体：主体被设计成一个漂浮，纯粹的竹编球体，在100平米的空间里满足了休息，会客，厨卫及办公需求。同时在外面披上一层梦一样的白纱，增加它的梦幻感与飘浮感。

The subject of the villa: The subject of the villa is designed a floating bamboo sphere. In the space of 100 square meters, it provides the resting, meeting, kitchen and bath and working function. At the same time, we made it wear a layer of dreamlike white gauze in a corner of the outside to increase its dreamlike sense and floating sense.

“灵魂”庭院：竹子一直是中国水墨画表达的重要题材。竹林中，竹子的光影打在普通的地面上基本是没有艺术效果的，但是如果把承影面变成宣纸（枯山水），竹子的光影就会像水墨一样洒在宣纸（枯山水）上。微风吹过，就会形成一幅动态的中国水墨画庭院！

The soul courtyard: bamboo has been the important subject of Chinese ink painting expression. In the bamboo forest,the bamboo shadow is played on the ground of the common basic is no artistic effect. But, if we turned the ground into rice paper(Japanese rock garden), the bamboo shadow would be like ink sprinkled on the paper(Japanese rock garden). When the breeze blowing, a dynamic image of the Chinese ink painting showed in front of us.

“灵魂”庭院和主体的结合：一种把灵魂庭院放在建筑主体的下面，形成比较纯粹的建筑意境。一种是把灵魂庭院延伸到建筑主体的斜上方，形成一种比较舒展的建筑形体。建筑的球体空间也可以像细胞一样裂变成几个小的球体，非常的灵活多变，为功能设想出更多的可能性，也为竹林注入更多的的活力！

The combination of the soul courtyard and the subject:in one hand, we can put the soul courtyard building under the subject of the villa to make the pure building spirit.One the other hand, we can make the garden extend to the inclined top of soul construction to make a extending architecture form.The construction of the sphere space also can fission into several small spheres as the cells. It is very flexible to let the function have more possibilities. It also can inject more vigor to the bamboo forest.
