源自建筑师文本:该公寓位于一栋建筑的底楼，这栋建筑在阿利坎特（西班牙）阿尔特拉城靠近海边的山上，四周是花园。

原有公寓与周围环境不相融合，因此，第一个要做的决定很明确：释放地面空间，使其与整个外部环境联系到一起，尤其是与前面的海洋相联系。这种布局使住宅分为面南和面北两块区域。第一块片区，也是较狭窄的一块，设计有主卧和主洗手间，第二块片区空间内，有厨房、客厅和餐厅。为了实现这一设计目的，建筑参考了著名摄影师爱德华H.温斯顿的作品，摄影作品中展现了美丽，同时又捕捉到了曲线和运动中的静谧。这一出发点促使我们设计一件家具，可以从房间一端穿越到另一端，成为空间中的主定义元素。

from the architect: This house islocated at the ground floor of a building which is found among gardens and bythe sea, up in the hill from a city called Altea, in Alicante (Spain).

In the very beginning this housewas unconnected to its own surroundings and therefore, the first decision tomake was already clear:  to set the floor free so it could be related withthe whole outer environment, but especially, with the sea in ahead of it.Because of this arrangement the house remained split up in two slices facingsouth and north. In the first piece, which is the narrower of both, the masterbedroom and the main bathroom are placed; and in the second one the space isstarred by a combination of kitchen, living, and dining all in one. In order todo so we took as a reference one of the works of the well-known photographerEdward H. Weston, because of the beauty shown while capturing the curves andthe quiet of the movement. This starting point helped us to design a piece offurniture capable of traveling from one end to another of the house and ofbecoming the main defining element of the space.

我们坚信应该使人体与家具尺寸、比例和材质相联系…对我们来说，这种关系促进人们体察环境。因此，设计建筑时，心理因子是需要考虑的重要方面。比如，这栋公寓的区域尺寸参考了“LeModulor”(Le Corbusier, 1948)中的描述。从这一意义上说，我们采用了226cm的高度，然后从中分块：86cm用于厨房工作台面，43cm用于凳子，70cm用于桌子。此外，大部分家具也可视为项目的一部分。地毯、“crochair”扶手椅，其中一张桌子以及垂直花园都为此住宅特别设计。

We strongly believe in therelevance of connecting the human body with the measures, the proportions, thematerials... For us this relationship enhances the way in which peopleperceived their environment. Hence, psychological factors  are a veryimportant aspect to take keep in mind when designing architecture. Forinstance, the section of this flat has been designed by using as a ground thedimensions described in "Le Modulor" (Le Corbusier, 1948). In thissense, we took for the height 226cm and then we made fractions out of it: 86cm for the countertop; 43cm for the benches and 70cm for the tables. Besides,most of the furniture can be considered as part of the project itself. Thecarpets, the "crochair" armchair, one of the tables and the verticalgarden were designed specially for this house.
