Upon the clients' request for a house whose interior is exterior and exterior is interior, spanish architect ferran vizoso in collaboration with jesús cardona found the solution through the use of four porches and four skylights. the peculiar massing replete with irregular angles are carefully designed around the triangular exterior courtyards as inverse funnels. each one frames a specific view of the equally designed landscape and when the doors of the individual volumes are slid open and hidden into the walls, the entire house becomes one large covered outdoor porch.
Triangular skylights in each of the inhabitable 'pavilions' accept light into the interiors with prismatic refractions, framing a view of the sky. through simple maneuvers the home is able to close the individual program - bedrooms and living area - from the exterior and at any time become a complete part of it, being surrounded from all angles by the forested site.
