This single-family detached home is located at L'Ametlla del Vallès, in a plot of land with a slope close to 80%.To the east lays a street with a group of residential houses; a pine forest extends to the west. In this setting, the intention of the project is to turn itsback to the road traffic and open up to the breathtaking views over the forest.





建筑师充分利用地形优势，车库与街面平齐；生活区位于地下层，可直接通向花园，这样每个房间都可观赏到森林的景色。该层的所有房间平行布局，因此浴室、卧室、厨房、餐厅和客厅都可以享受到充足的自然光线。地面层仅有设有主工作室，同时也是起居室和车库之间的缓冲区域。

Taking advantage of the characteristics of the plot, the parking area is placed at street level, while the living spaces are located on the basement floor, where there is a direct access to the garden. In this way, we provide each room with a direct visual connection to the forest of l'Ametlla. Allthe areas on this floor are arranged in parallel, so that each room enjoys natural light: bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living room. Theonly space located on the ground floor is the main studio, which also serves as a buffer space between the living room and the garage.





该住宅有两种立面。朝向街道的黑色的波纹状立面，可以保护房间及隐私，该立面仅有一扇窗户和门。与之明显相对的是朝向花园的立面，该立面明亮洁白，且安装了多扇大窗。其几何线形和开口布局为起居空间带来了明亮的自然光线。阳光和阴影在立面上创造了一支光与影的动态舞蹈。

The house has two facades. The street facade is opaque, dark, and wavy, which protects the house and provides privacy. It has just one window anda door. It contrasts starkly with the garden facade, which has large windows and is very bright, all white. The geometric lines that define it, as wellas the composition of its openings, respond to the desire to bring natural light into the living spaces and to use the sunlight and shadows to create a dramatic effect on this facade.







该住宅风格朴实无华，外部隔热系统、波纹状的工业混凝土地板均为成本较低的建筑材料，经济实用。

An ingenuous architectural solution and an extremely economical choice of materials –the exterior insulation system, the corrugated and theindustrial concrete floor– made the project very affordable.
