UNStudio事务所最近在北京一个大长方形规划土地上完成了以雕塑别墅集合为基础的一个居民区，名为“仙境国瑞别墅群”，该建筑遵循一个开放式的组织架构，而公共空间则被铰接到背面和水边位置。在设计开发阶段，该项目的一个基本出发点就是每个别墅都要有自己的特征，以及具有独特的社区氛围。其结果是，在设计上一致性的组合和独特的功能性体现的淋漓尽致。该项目的一方面特点，则是弧形立面：通过微略的形式变化，外表面呈现了一个微妙的扭曲以及弯曲了周围的边角;给人创建出一种与自然结构有关的节奏。另外，粘土色彩增强了自然环境和住宅设计之间的连接。

UNStudio have recently completed a residential neighborhood in beijing comprised of a collection of sculptural villas based and planned within a large rectangular piece of land. Named ‘fairyland guorui villa complex’, the properties follow an open-plan organization while the public spaces have been articulated to the context and waterside location. During the design development phase, an essential quality of the scheme was for each villa to have its own identity, as well as having a distinct community atmosphere. As a result, a combination of consistency in design and unique features have been utilized. A characteristic aspect of the project, is the volume’s façades: through slight changes in form, the surface of the exterior displays a subtle twisting and curving around the corners; creating a rhythm but giving a nature-related aspect to the structure. Additionally, the clay color strengthens this connection between the natural environment and residential scheme.  



沿着河边分布的别墅群，虽然各自拥有自己的特色和生活空间，然而却都镶嵌在公共空间内，激发邻里和社区归属感。表面上，这种设计的目的是建立一个强大的内部和外部条件。采用不同的综合功能，包括阳台、窗台、檐篷或露台和屋顶花园。这些添加的各种布置已经被应用在整个范围创建不同类型的别墅，使品种多样化，并通过几何元素的组织保持其独特性。

The villas are scattered along the riverside, each with its own characteristics and living spaces, but embedded in the communal space to stimulate a neighborhood and a sense of community. Externally, they are designed to create a strong inside and outside condition. Employing different integrated features, including balconies, bay windows, canopies or terraces and roof-top gardens. Various arrangements of these additions have been applied to create different types of villas across the compound, enabling variety and preserving the sense of uniqueness through the organization of geometric elements.
