french architect noé duchaufour-lawrance has conceived the 'air france business lounge' with global creative agency brandimage. the space, located in the s4 boarding satellite at charles de gaulle airport in paris, is informed by the idea of the journey ahead.
in terms of way-finding, this concept manifests itself as an area made up of sections conducive to walking, to create fluidity between the different zones. the color palette and aesthetic personality of the design draw heavily from a contemporary adaptation of a park. this is achieved through natural elements such as reinterpreted trees and leaves punctuating the interior coupled with wooden features. shades of predominantly brown and beige are accented with green tones. the paths are also organized with a botanical spirit, expressed by structures referencing offshoots of a plant, achieving a sense of privacy rendering a need for only modest partitioning.
