UNDER CONSTRUCTION健身房需要延续其“未完工的施工现场”这一设计风格,不同于以往裸露混凝土、工字钢等结构部件的设计手法,大观建筑在此次健身房的设计中以夸张的“黄色警戒线”来体现施工现场的视觉效果。
The small fitness club, UNDER CONSTRUCTION, which serves the community, is composed of two small shops of 40 square meters side by side to form a new L-shaped space with a height of 5.1m, which provides full possibility for us to add a second floor to increase the utilization rate of the space. Therefore, the main problem of the design is how to break through the narrow visual feeling of the small space and how to improve the utilization rate of the space.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION gym needs to continue its design style of "unfinished construction site". It is different from the previous design techniques of exposed concrete, I-beam, and other structural components. In the design of this gym, DAGA Architects uses an exaggerated "yellow warning" to reflect the visual effect of the construction site.
Although the overall space area is small, we still keep a 5.1-meter high ceiling space in the main entrance area. The 45-degree angle formed by the reception and the wall forms a squat trail that guides the moving line.

▼狭长空间两侧的镜面墙壁 Mirror walls on both sides of the narrow space
After the second floor is added, the layout of mechanical and electrical equipment and pipelines is particularly important. All equipment and pipelines are positioned in the model during the design step of the project, and the construction is strictly in accordance with the design during the construction process, to ensure higher use in use height.
