It all started with the idea of creating an original piece of furniture that would be contemporary, innovative, but most importantly, to be emblematic of everyday life: a table. Since we like to challenge Corian use in all kinds of crazy ways, it came natural to use it. Corian is a very strong material, non toxic, non porous, that can take almost any form throught thermoforming.

设计来源于创造一件原始家具的想法。这件家具应该是现代的、富有创造性的，且更重要的，是我们日常生活的象征：一张桌子。既然我们喜欢以各种疯狂的方式挑战杜邦可丽耐的用法，创造出这件作品就是自然而然的了。可丽耐是一种十分耐用的材料，无毒、无孔。通过热力成型，它几乎可以塑造成任何形状。

The form of the table resembles the shape of a rock formation covered with snow called ‘Babele’ from the Carpathian Mountain. Corian became the perfect metaphor for the snow covering the table. The following step was a rough stylization process, an organic volumetric metamorphosis of what was to become the table. For the tabletop we wanted to create the impression of a stone hanged in console that is supported by a massive structure. The material used to suport the Corian mesh is stratified wood which also gives an intriguing texture.

该桌子的外形极似一块来自喀尔巴阡山上覆盖着雪的名为“Babele”的岩石。可丽耐正是这张覆雪桌子的恰当比喻。下面的步骤就是构思最终变成桌子的粗略程式化过程，这也是一个有机的体态变化过程。对于桌面，我们要创建一种石头悬在被庞大结构支撑起来的悬臂上的效果。用于支撑这可丽耐的材料是分层的木材，这也使其具有了迷人的纹理。
