VERDURA® is a plantable retaining wall system that provides the strength and function of a standard retaining wall with the added ability to sustain live plantings.  VERDURA® blocks are made of low moisture absorbing concrete that will not deteriorate over time.  Because of the high shear strength from the lip of the block, VERDURA® allows for soil compaction directly behind the blocks, facilitating the use of heavy construction equipment within close proximity to the wall face.  VERDURA® comes in various block sizes that can be used for a wide range of projects from homeowner projects to large-scale developments.  VERDURA® applications include high and critical walls, tiered walls, channel walls, detention basin walls, screen walls, garden walls, raised garden beds, tree rings, borders  and sound walls.  VERDURA® walls have been constructed up to 60’.

VERDURA® blocks are made of low moisture absorbing concrete that will not deteriorate over time.  There are various block sizes that can be used for a wide range of projects from small homeowner projects which would use our VERDURA® 10 and VERDURA® 30 blocks, to large-scale development projects that use VERDURA® 40, 50 and 60.    These blocks range from 23lbs to 135lbs each.
