该项目是一座私人基金会，建筑被森林包围，位于莫斯科附近，目的是存放和展示私人艺术收藏品。简朴设计的主要目的是将展出物的价值表现出来，并且为人们了解现代艺术创造完美的条件。

From the architect. Location and function
The building of the private foundation, surrounded by the forest, is situated near Moscow with the aim to store and exhibit private art collection. The primary goal of its ascetic design is to bring attention to the value of objects exposed and to create perfect conditions for the perception of modern art.

建筑结构
   
该单层建筑包括几个标志性的建筑体量，这些体量都覆盖在一个平面屋顶下。形成了内部非常自然的展览空间。通过使用不同材料和包层，在室内外设计中区分存储、媒体和藏书模块区。通往建筑的大门隐藏在大型立面体量之间，使建筑的简朴外观变得完整。

Structure of the building
One-storey building consists of several laconic architectural volumes covered by a single flat roof. Exhibition space is naturally formed within them. Storing, media and library blocks are differentiated in interior and exterior design through usage of various materials and claddings. Main entrance to the building is hidden between large architectural volumes of the facade, making the ascetic appearance of the construction complete.

展览空间
   
大部分展区位于一楼，媒体空间位于地下室。展厅的北部和东部有朝向森林的无框玻璃窗。为了确保现代艺术展览使用完美的均匀漫射光，项目使用了平顶镶板来照明，带有可调光谱和强度调节，可以创建各种展会轮廓。作为建筑元素的天花板消失，只留下与背景结合的光。大厅也有一个区域，自然光照良好，可用于放置展会线索元素和更大的物体。

Exhibition space
Most of the exposition areas are located on the ground floor, with media space on the basement floor complimenting them. North and east sides of the exhibition hall have frameless windows facing the forest. To ensure evenly diffused light that is perfect for exhibiting of modern art ceiling panel lightening with adjustable spectrum and intensity regulations is used that allows creating various exposition outlines. The ceiling as an architectural element disappears leaving only the light united with the setting. The hall also has a zone with natural upper lightening that can be used for placing clue exposition elements and larger objects.

存储空间和图书馆
   
存储空间也用做展览，有自己的入口、车道和卸货区。电梯连接转运区和地下室的技术及包装区。存储空间也有一个预览区，有与展览厅相当的天花板高度和照明。

Storing space and library
Storing space is adjusted to exposition hall and has its own entrance, driveway and unloading area. There is an elevator connecting it’s transit zone with technical and packaging areas in the basement. The storing space also has a preview area with ceilings heights and lightening equal to the exposition hall.

面向原始森林的图书馆像漂浮在树丛中。图书馆配备了工作区和会议区。墙壁镶嵌着浅色橡木书架。存储区和图书馆的内外部包覆着天然落叶松木。

Console volume of the library that is facing untouched forest is almost floating among the trees. It is equipped with working and meeting areas. Walls are covered with shelves made of light oak. The interior and exterior of storing and library blocks are cladded with natural larch.

建筑细节
   
该项目的建筑细节重点在于艺术、光和自然的结合，将室内与自然环境融合在一起。无框玻璃窗结合包覆着相同材料的内外墙，产生内外部环境之间的边界。室内没有任何额外的细节，看起来很中性。所有公用系统隐藏在墙壁和天花板里。为了创造适合存储艺术品的环境，室内由温度和湿度系统来控制，然后从地下室通到大厅。为了组织大厅里的展览，使用可移动和可拆卸结构，需要的话，可以完全移到大厅的房间里。

Details
Architectural details of the project focusing on the synthesis of art, light and nature are supposed to blend together the interior and natural environment. The usage of frameless windows combined with interior and exterior walls cladded evenly using identical material results in border between inner and outer environment being ephemeral. To make the interior look neutral, inside areas are free of any extra detail. All the utility systems are hidden inside the walls and ceilings. To maintain the environment suitable for the stored pieces of art, the air is ventilated from the basement to the hall after passing temperature and humidity control systems. To organize the exhibitions in the hall mobile and demountable constructions are used that can be moved completely to the room adjusted to the hall if necessary.
