来自事务所的描述。本次设计围绕项目自身的三个基本问题展开。
1.该项目规模较大。如何在保证幼儿园使用功能的灵活性和高密度的场地条件限制二者之间保持平衡?
From the architect. The design developed itself surround three basic problems of this project.
The scale of this building is huge. How to make a balance between the flexibility required by the function of a kindergarten and the high density limited by the site condition?

我们在建筑中引入一个“活力环”,这个环的内部是功能灵活复杂的大厅,而环本身也可以视为教室,活力环把27间单元活动室、行政管理办公室和后勤办公空间连接起来。
We insert a ‘Vigor Ring’ into the building. The inner part of this ring is a multifunctional hall, and the ring itself serves as classrooms. 27 activity units, administrative offices and logistics offices are connected to the ring.

“灵活自由的环状空间”把分散布置的建筑体量紧密连结起来,使这一高密度建筑的内部空间生机勃勃,充满活力,迎合了儿童活动的功能需要和特点。
This concept of “liberal ring” creates tension between the distributed building masses, invigorates the space inside the high-density building, and matches the character of kid’s activities.

2.在这一项目中,场地面积较小,缺乏户外活动空间。怎么解决空间受限问题,营造趣味空间呢?
我们充分利用了建筑形体在各个建筑体量和缺口处的空间,设置一系列楼梯。同时,中心环状空间的屋顶也被利用起来,营造出儿童的活动空间。另外,被分隔开的室外活动空间和建筑标准单元之间彼此视线相通。就这样,建筑的室外部分就被有序的组织起来,与整幢功能复杂的建筑有机的融合在一起。
2. The site is small and it’s lack of outdoor space. How to create spatial interest?
We make use of architectural forms to create a lot of stairs on the building and gaps between the masses. Meanwhile, the roof of the central ring is taken full advantage of creating activity space. Moreover, the separated outdoor spaces and the standard building units are reconnected by sightlines. In this way, the outdoor spaces of this building are organized into a complex system,

3室内空间。
室内空间的设计同样遵循了建筑透视法的原则。基于儿童对空间的认知,墙壁色彩经过精心选择和搭配,有助于提高儿童的记忆力、逻辑性,激发创造性。墙壁上设置形态各异的孔洞,旨在鼓励儿童通过不同的方式去探索空间,弧形的小路灵活且柔和,弯曲的墙壁表面经过处理,防止儿童撞伤。
3.The interior.
The interior design also follows the architectural perspective. Based on the kid’s spatial cognition, the colors are meticulously selected so as to improve kids’ memory, logic and creativity. Holes on walls are designed to inspire kids to explore the space in different way. Curved paths are amiable while curved surfaces are crashworthy
