把科技与传统手工融入生活的快闪店怎么玩

家具家居领域的生活方式品牌“点造| dotMake”日前开设了一家快闪店，这家店把产品零售和制作体验融为一体。快闪店位于北京的中心：前门大栅栏的北京劝业场。这栋建筑建于1920年代，是近代北京第一幢综合性商业建筑，经多年修缮后重新开放。这栋百年建筑独有的民国风貌，体现了中西结合的设计特点，跟点造|dotMake 把现代科技和传统手工带进家庭生活的初心不谋而合。

Located in Dashilar Community, the Beijing-based design brand dot Make has opened a pop-up store which integrates homeware retail with live-making experience. The dot Make Store is in Quan-ye-chang, a historical building which dates back to the 1920s. This building was the very first shopping mall in Beijing and has been carefully renovated during the past decade.

“点造 | dotMake”由建筑设计品牌“度态建筑| dot Architects”成立，尝试打造产品和体验一体化的家居环境，让每个人都能在设计和数控加工技术的帮助下，简单可行的定制自己的家具和家居产品。这家快闪店由度态建筑设计。店内展示了点造的家具成品系列，现场定制、机器手臂自动加工家具系列，以及用户可以现场参与手工制作的半成品家具产品。同时店内还有来自放制Openmake、极致盛放等多个国内外新锐家具和生活方式品牌的数控和手工产品。

dot Make is set up by dot Architects, which is an architectural design studio. dot Make endeavors to build a lifestyle that incorporate making into living, and simplify the customization of homeware and furniture with the aid of design and digital fabrication. dot Architects has designed this pop-up store. The store includes displays of dot Make’s ready-made furniture, customisable furniture that could be fabricated by Kuka robot and 3d printer on demand, and ready-to-assemble-furniture-kits that customer can enjoy the woodworking process by self-making. The dot Make store also presents a selection of homeware design brands focused on digital fabrication and handmaking, including Openmake and Xuberance.

点造快闪店的中心是一个机器手臂加工站，在这里用户可以现场定制并加工他们的家具。以“格鲁特衣架”为例，这款衣架的概念来源于树枝发芽的过程，用户可以现场定制分叉（衣服挂钩）的位置、长度和角度，以及是否有第二层级的分叉。机器手臂会根据用户的选择进行现场加工，用户只需简单动手组装。衣架的杆件连接采用插接和榫卯节点，由机器手臂一次加工完成。

A Kuka robot station stands in the center of the dot Make Store. Visitors will be able to select and fabricate a coat rack on the spot. With the design concept of tree branching, this coat rack could be customised by varying the branchlets’ location, angle and length, therefore, each coat rack could be unique. The Kuka robot then processes the raw material according to the user’s input. The trunk of the coat rack is make up of two wood sticks which are joined by a tenon and mortise work. The Kuka robot is able to machine all the branching joints and the main tenon-mortise joint in one operation.

在机器手臂加工站的两侧，是家具制作体验区和家居成品售卖区。On one side of the Kuka robot station is the live furniture-making section. On the other side is the homeware retail section.

在制作体验区的入口区域，是两台智能三维打印机。用户可以在手机端访问这两台打印机，现场选取或者输入自定义的内容和图案，然后打印机就可以直接打印戒指或者投影灯一类的装饰用品，而装饰的主题和造型都来源于用户的定义内容。

There are several 3d printers at the entrance of the live making section. Anyone could access these printers via wifi and customize the pattern and content using an app designed for the 3d printer. After the order is paid online these 3d printers would make decorative items and gadgets with the input of user-defined content. For example, a touch light which projects a customized image on the wall, or a ring with user’s name on it.

旁边是传统木工制作区，提供机器设备和家具的半成品套件，用户可以亲手制作家具和木制手工艺品，亲身感受家具设计和制作的流程。所有的半成品套件由数控机床预先加工好，帮助没有手工制作基础的普通人在短时间内制作成品。

A woodworking table with several woodworking machines offer hands-on tutorials on how to make furniture on the spot. dot Make provides semi-finished-furniture-kits which have been fabricated by CNC machine beforehand. Anyone with or without woodworking skills could experience the making process in a short period of time.

另一侧的家居成品售卖区，精选了点造|dotMake 自有的家具成品。这个区域还集合了很多品牌的产品，包括通过3D打印设计的家居和首饰产品，以及来自年轻设计师和大栅栏社区老木匠的各种木制手工艺品。所有这些产品陈列在放制Openmake的桌子上。这是英国开源家具制作平台Opendesk和豆瓣合作的品牌“放制Openmake”第一次在北京亮相。放制Openmake 还带来了他们的柜子、凳子和图板屏风等多种热销产品。据悉他们下一步将在中国推出更多品类的家居产品。

The retail section includes displays of dot Make’s own furniture and a collection of homeware design brands. These products are either digitally fabricated or handcrafted. They are presented on the tables of Openmake, which is a collaborated company between the British start-up Opendesk and the influential Chinese SNS provider Douban.

前门大栅栏社区的旧城改造和商业复兴是北京城市更新的典范，这里有很棒的设计文化和生活方式品类的新零售业态集群。点造的这家快闪店是第一步尝试，来收集市场反馈，建立消费者接触，为未来的商业拓展建立基础。

The Dashilar Community is one of Beijing’s most original historic quarters, and has been regarded as a successful case of urban revitalization. Now there is a great design culture and community of design enthusiasts, mixed with local hutong residents. The information and feedback collected from this pop-up store would help dot Make with its plans for further business development in the future.
