Gato House in Lima

别墅被设计成一个大白盒，通过不同的垂直切割形成了现有的建筑结构。白盒坐落在露石混凝土结构上，这有助于隐藏地下室不同房间的窗户。

The house has been designed as a big white box in which, diverse vertical cuts has been applied forming a general view of texture. The white box sits over a concrete exposed structure, that helps hide the windows of the different rooms of the basement.

别墅有3种外立面形式，每个形式都追从室内功能。主立面设计成完全开放的，因此在社交区能欣赏地平线的全景。侧立面展示了从开放到封闭的过渡。它从右侧的社交区正面转到左侧的私人卧室区。最后，后立面是封闭私有的。

The house has 3 facades; each one of them expresses the inner content. The principal facade was planned to be completely open, resulting in a complete view of the horizon for the social area. The lateral facade shows the transition from the open to the closed. It twists from the social front on the right to the private quarters on the left. Finally, the rear façade which is closed in and private.

整体性和灵活性是项目的两个主题。

The integration and flexibility are two main subjects in the project.

一方面，一楼社交区的所有活动都集中在一个空间。由于没有划分区域的墙壁，你能欣赏到完整的功能集成。每个空间都给你宽敞的感觉。你可以灵活地移动家具，并根据用户需要使用额外的空间。相同的概念也应用于地下室，客厅和天井都在这里，还有大面积的滑动玻璃门。

On one side, all the activities on the social area on the first level are all integrated in one space. You can appreciate that there is a full integration due to the lack of walls that divide areas. Every space tends to give you the sensation of amplitude. It is flexible in the way that you are bale to move furniture around use the extra space depending on the users necessities. This same concept is applied to the basement, where the living room and the patio all mix in, with big sliding glass doors.

On the other hand, we left away any type of vertical support that could interfere with the beautiful view of the horizon, in which the house is based. It lets you integrate the view with the project. To be bale to achieve this goal we needed to insert a beam that would be on a ledge leaving the corner as an open space and permitting a full view.

重要的是突出中央天井。它被认为是项目的核心，有三个重要功能。

It is important to highlight the central patio. This is considered the heart of the project. It has three important functions.
In first place, it gives you a pleasant view of the surroundings from the social area.

最后，它将主卧室和社交区隔开，不仅给主卧室以隐私，而且能欣赏周围出色的风景。

In second place it helps illuminate with natural light and permit the necessary ventilation in the basement area.
Finally it separates the master bedroom from the social area, giving it not only privacy but an excellent view of the surroundings.

别墅有下述区域：

1. 地下室：4间卧室，每间都有独立卫生间，其中两间有自然采光和通风的天井。这些连接到客厅，客厅有双层通高的天井和连接一楼的楼梯。

2.一楼：泳池，露台，开放空间概念的烧烤区。这是一个大型室内空间包括餐厅和客厅。设备区的核心连接主厨房、食品室、洗衣房、佣人卧室和浴室。最后是主卧室和浴室。

The house has the following areas:
1. Basement: four bedrooms, in which each one has an independent bathroom, two of them have a patio with natural lighting and ventilation. These connect onto a living room with a double altitude patio and staircases that connect with the first floor.
2. First level: Pool, terrace and barbeque area with an open space concept. A big interior space that includes the dinning room and living room. The nucleus of the service area is attached to the main kitchen, the pantry, the laundry, a service bedroom and bathroom. Finally the master bedroom and bathroom.
